The Gel-NYC is a crossover build rather than a straight reissue, taking its upper from the Gel-NIMBUS 3 and its tooling from the MC-Plus V to create a silhouette that never existed in the archive. That mix of early 2000s running parts landed it at the centre of the technical runner revival, and it has since become one of ASICS’ most widely worn lifestyle models.
