The Mind 001 marks Nike's move into comfort-led casual footwear built outside the performance sneaker template. The line leans on sculptural, pared-back shapes rather than technical panelling, and the slide version reduces the idea to its simplest form as a single moulded piece. It arrives alongside a wider industry shift toward moulded slip-ons and recovery footwear as everyday wear rather than post-workout kit.
The Old Royal colourway renders the full moulded shell in a deep saturated royal blue with a matte finish throughout. A metallic silver gunmetal Swoosh sits debossed on the lateral side above a perforated panel, giving the only point of contrast against the blue. The medial side carries open ventilation slots cut through the moulded wall in place of the perforations, while the sphere outsole sits in a darker navy tone beneath the main body.
Moulded one-piece construction with no laces, seams or visible hardware. Perforated upper shell and open ventilation slots for airflow across the forefoot. Closed toe design offering more coverage than a conventional open slide. Sphere-based foam outsole for grip and elevation. Lightweight slip-on build for easy on and off wear.
FitSlip-on fit with a closed toe. We recommend ordering your usual UK size.

The Old Royal Mind 001 Slide is for anyone who wants the sculptural moulded shape as a statement rather than a quiet basic. The saturated royal blue is the boldest colour in the women's line, so it suits people already comfortable with colour in their footwear. The closed toe and sphere outsole also make it practical for everyday outdoor wear rather than just indoors.
The Old Royal Mind 001 Slide is the loudest way to wear the silhouette, so keep the rest of the outfit quiet with black, cream or grey wide-leg trousers that break just above the ankle. The saturated blue sits well against washed denim and white layering if you want to keep the palette cool.
The Mind 001 Slide sits in the same space as the adidas Adilette 22, Yeezy Slide and the wider moulded slip-on category, though the closed toe gives it more coverage and makes it wearable outside. This is the women's build, cut on a narrower last than the men's Mind 001 Slides and stocked in women's sizing rather than being a unisex size run. Within the range, Old Royal is the boldest option, trading everyday neutrality for a saturated colourway that leads an outfit.
The Mind 001 Slide has a slip-on fit with a closed toe, so it sits closer to a mule than an open slide. This is the women's build, so we recommend ordering your usual UK size. If you prefer a roomier feel, size up.
Yes. The closed toe and sphere-based outsole make it far more practical outdoors than a standard open slide. It handles everyday pavement wear comfortably, though it is not designed for sport or extended walking.
Yes. This is the women's build, cut on a narrower last and stocked in UK 3.5 to UK 9.5. It is a separate product from the men's Mind 001 Slides rather than the same shoe in a different colour.
The moulded construction makes cleaning straightforward. Wipe down with a damp cloth and mild soap, paying attention to the perforations, ventilation slots and the spheres on the outsole. Air dry away from direct heat and avoid the washing machine.
