The ASICS Gel-1130 takes its shape from the ninth model in the Gel-1000 series and draws its overlay construction and Tiger Stripe panelling from the Gel-Kayano 14. It was pulled back as a lifestyle model during the technical running revival and quickly became one of the most widely worn shoes in the category. It now sits alongside the Gel-NYC and Gel-Kayano 14 as a core part of the ASICS retro line.
The White Midnight colourway sets a white perforated mesh base under midnight navy patent overlays wrapping the toe, eyestay and heel counter. Polished silver Tiger Stripes cross both side panels, outlined against the navy so they catch the light, with a silver outlined pattern running through the navy heel panelling. A white midsole sits beneath, broken by a navy GEL window at the heel, above a cream and navy outsole.
